“Rest In The Lord”

There is a time and a season for everything. You must know what season you are in, in order to do what needs to be done. Most times when you work or do things out of order (time&season). Your life becomes disruptive, Chaotic, confused, and disorganized.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:a time to be born, and a time to die;a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;a time to kill, and a time to heal;a time to break down, and a time to build up;a time to weep, and a time to laugh;a time to mourn, and a time to dance;a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;a time to seek, and a time to lose;a time to keep, and a time to throw away;a time to tear, and a time to sew;a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;a time to love, and a time to hate;a time for war, and a time for peace.”

I wanted to give you a bit of context before we move on. Because I'm going somewhere with this. And my hope is that you take NOTES!

I believe somewhere in your day to day life you thought you would just listen to the world and what the "universe" as y'all call it; tell you what to do. You not once 🛑 and said "let me rest in the Lord for His answer" I know for some that's not ideal because the world has made it look good and enticing to always be on go. But you do know what that really says to God... RIGHT? "It says you don't trust Him" Yes I said it.

Resting in the Lord means placing your faith, and identity in His provision, physically and eternally. (Ephensians 2:8 AMP) READ IT! God established a rhythm for us to follow since the beginning of Genesis. 🗣️🗣️OBEY GOD🗣️🗣️

Culture has told you to stay busy. Culture has said work, work, and work some more. Culture has said grind night and day so you don't have time for God and your families. Culture has said chase money and dreams, but the Bible says my Father own the world and everything in it . Culture has said if you don't spend your every moment being a busybody then you are nothing. You will have nothing. You mean nothing. You're worthless. You're a bum. And I don't know if you all are in some way following the "If a man doesn't work he doesn't eat" verse

(2Thess 3:10) but babbeee that ain't it. Thats knowledge and not revelation of that verse. That's not context. That verse has literally been taking and ran with instead of getting wisdom and revelation to understand it. But that's a whole other teaching.

Back to resting in the Lord. Stop following trends and what culture is displaying and telling you to do. The best thing you can do is "BE STILL AND KNOW". Rest in the Father. God wants your minds, bodies, and souls. You were not born to hustle, move, be busy and die. Jesus wants us to enjoy life. Have fun, spend time with our families. Most importantly spend time in Him. Rest my dear sweet souls.

(Genesis2:2-3)

My prayer for you today is that the Ruach would blow you a fresh wind. I pray that in this new year that you would just cast your cares on Jesus and leave them. I pray that you will take long deep breaths in and out, and then sit with that. I pray that you don't let culture and what the world show you manifest in your life. Simply because it's not God's reality. It's a false truth. I pray that as you begin to let this word sizzle in your spirit that you find peace in God, knowing that you can REST in Him. I pray your mind becomes clear. I pray that despite what life is doing that your mind and heart stays on God. I pray God's WILL be done in your life. I pray that God gives you language for the rest you need in this season. I pray that you know you are safe in Him, you are blessed in Him, and that you are LOVED in Him.

In Jesus name
